Crawford Electric Supply To Acquire Cain Electric Supply’s Fort Worth Location

Feb 20, 2004 12:00 PM

Crawford Electric Supply Co. Ltd., Dallas, has entered into an agreement to acquire the inventory, assets and location of Cain Electric Supply, Fort Worth, Texas.

Crawford Electric Supply has locations in Dallas, Houston and now Fort Worth. The company, which was ranked the 62nd largest electrical distributor in the nation by Electrical Wholesaling magazine, said it grew its sales from $75 million to $100 million in 2003.

Crawford Electric CEO Craig Levering said the company had been covering Fort Worth from its Dallas location, but will be able to service Fort Worth easier now.

“It looks like a good opportunity to make us more efficient and be a better service to our customers,” he said.

Cain Electrical Supply, Big Spring, Texas, is ranked by EW as No. 188 among the industry’s top distributors.
