Fluke acquires Martel Electronics

In one of the electrical market’s first acquistions of 2012, Fluke Corp., Everett, Wash., announced plans to acquire Martel Electronics Corp., a Derry, N.H.-based manufacturer of electronic testing equipment under the Martel and Beta brands. Martel and Fluke have been working together since 1996 on development of Fluke process tools and calibration equipment. Martel will stay in Derry and will continue to be led by Tom Fatur, reporting through the Fluke Calibration division.
