HD Supply to Cut 350 Employees and Consolidate 25 Branches

HD Supply, Atlanta, reported a 27-percent drop in sales and a $257-million loss during its fiscal third quarter. According to information released to the Securities Exchange Commission on Dec. 15, HD Supply plans to consolidate 25 branch locations and cut 350 employees. HD Supply said in that document that it expects to spend approximately $45 million in a restructuring plan to completed by the end of the first half of fiscal 2010. www.bizjournals.com article
