Ideal Electrical Supply, Washington, D.C., announced the hiring of Kwame Bonsu as its new director of business development – Federal and Facilities Management. Bonsu will lead Ideal’s expansion into both the federal and facilities management markets, drawing on over 30 years of diversified experience in the chemical, lighting, energy efficiency and renewable energy industries.
Bonsu, who was most recently manager of business development for Atlantic Electric Supply, joins Ideal after holding various positions at Osram Sylvania as product development engineer, account rep and government sales manager. Prior to joining Sylvania Bonsu was a process engineer with Monsanto Co.
