Data and technology service provider IDEA, Arlington, Va., announced the manufacturers that have achieved the Platinum level in the Industry Data Warehouse (IDW) Bands of Excellence. The manufacturers recognized have provided the product marketing content that distributors have requested to help them market products.
"We introduced the IDW Bands of Excellence program to honor the manufacturers that are providing exceptional value and marketing support to their trading partners. Since the program began in April, the marketing content in the IDW has more than tripled," said Steve Sokolow, IDEA chairman, who is chairman of the board at Leviton Manufacturing.
The product marketing content for specification documents, attributes, images and descriptions all had to be populated with data for a company to qualify. Platinum band manufacturers have provided the marketing content for 75% to 100% of their stock products; Gold band manufacturers, 50% to 74%; and Bronze band, 10% to 49%.
The Platinum manufacturers are: Allied Moulded Products Inc.; Bridgeport Fittings Inc.; Burndy; Cablofil Inc.; Columbia Lighting; Cooper Crouse-Hinds; Cooper Lighting; Cooper Lighting Canada; Dual-Lite; EiKO, Ltd.; Electri-Flex; Hubbell Lighting; Hubbell Power Systems; ILSCO; Leviton Manufacturing Co.; Osram Sylvania; Pentair Technical Products; Progress Lighting; RAB Lighting, Inc.; RACO; Southwire Co.; Specified Technologies; and The Wiremold Co. Of those, Columbia Lighting, Electri-Flex, Hubbell Lighting and ILSCO.
