Cape Electrical Supply, Cape Girardeau, Mo., has acquired Delmo Electric, a utility supply company located in Fisk, Mo. Delmo becomes Cape Electrical Supply’s 20th location in a regional marketing area that now expands across Missouri, Illinois, Kentucky and Tennessee. Delmo opened in 1978 and was owned by Bill Mosbey, the company’s president He plans to continue working in the business and will remain active with his numerous utility customers throughout the region.

Delmo specializes in providing electrical utility products for municipalities, electrical cooperatives and investor-owned utility companies. This marks the second utility-related acquisition for Cape Electrical Supply in the past six months. In July, the company purchased Electrical Sales Engineering (ESE) in Bowling Green, Ky. Cape Electrical Supply, which ranked No. 107 on Electrical Wholesaling’s 2008 Top 200 with $72.4 million in sales, has added 12 new locations in the past 10 years.
