Colonial Electric Acquires Telecom Specialist

An article in Pennsylvania’s Times Herald says Colonial Electric Supply, King of Prussia, Pa., has acquired TelTek Sales Inc., Philadelphia, to bolster its offering of telecom products and services.
According to the article, TelTek Sales, Inc. will begin operating out of Colonial Electric’s King of Prussia location under the company’s Outside Plant Division beginning this month. Howard Sukonick, TelTek president, will join Colonial Electric Supply as V.P. of its Outside Plant Division. The article said he has more than 30 years of experience in the telecommunications business. Colonial Electric Supply is ranked No. 42 on EW’s Top 200 ranking, with $152 million in 2010 sales, 330 employees and 20 locations. The company covers the Philadelphia market, New Jersey, Delaware, New York and Maryland.
