Black Box Buys Telecommunication Systems Management

Black Box Corp., Pittsburgh, acquired Telecommunication Systems Management Inc. (TSM).

Black Box Corp., Pittsburgh, acquired Telecommunication Systems Management Inc. (TSM). TSM is a privately held corporation founded in Virginia by Jack Regan and Charles Gill in 1988, who will remain active in the company in leadership roles. Since its inception, TSM has experienced steady revenue growth and expansion of its customer base. “We are excited about joining forces with Black Box, and look forward to the expanded capabilities and products we will be able to offer customers,” said Regan. Gill added, “We have extensive experience and a strong technical support staff, which will enhance the overall technical support capabilities of the combined organization.”

TSM’s customer base includes the federal government, local and state government, hospitals, universities and commercial accounts.

Gary Williams, general manager of Black Box’s Voice Services operations, said: “We are very excited to be combining operations with Telecommunication Systems Management. TSM has an excellent reputation for providing high quality voice services for large complex and multi-site locations and is ideally positioned to enhance Black Box’s offerings in this market.”
