Cantex, Mineral Wells, Texas, will move its corporate headquarters to the heart of downtown Fort Worth, Texas, in April 2006. Cantex currently operates three manufacturing plants and a distribution center. Its headquarters and sales and marketing operations are located on a 70 acre complex in Mineral Wells, which it has occupied since 1946, when the company began as a clay pipe producer.

As a result of our continued business growth and expansion, it became necessary to look for a new location outside of Mineral Wells,” said Don Wirtanen, president and chief operating officer of Cantex. “We needed a space where we could not only house all our administrative and sales staff, but also access a larger pool of qualified job applicants. This move will finally allow us to bring everyone together under one roof, and will also give us the flexibility we need for future growth.”
