Cerro Wire & Cable Co. Inc., Hartselle, Ala.,has begun a multi-million-dollar project to expand capacity of its Ogden, Utah, plant.

Cerro Wire & Cable Co. Inc., Hartselle, Ala.,has begun a multi-million-dollar project to expand capacity of its Ogden, Utah, plant. Scheduled for completion by early 2005, the improvements are expected to increase production capacity by more than 30 percent. “Cerro is well-established as a leader in service and quality in the domestic building wire industry and we are committed to continued growth in support of our customers,” company president Stephen Rudd said in announcing the project. Cerro Wire & Cable manufactures wire used in construction of residential, commercial and industrial buildings. Products are marketed through the Cerrowire and Circle Wire brands to electrical distributors and consumer products home centers. In addition to the Ogden plant, the company has manufacturing operations at its headquarters in Hartselle, Ala., as well as in Crothersville, Ind. Cerro Wire & Cable is a Marmon Wire & Cable company.
