The Wilmington Blue Rocks minor-league baseball team in Wilmington, Del., is retrofitting 125 lighting fixtures at Frawley Stadium with 250 T5 retrofit kits, reducing the facility’s annual lighting costs by 68 percent. The project will deliver a return on investment in less than 12 months. A branch of City Electric Supply in Delaware is providing the products for the project. The initial order will provide lighting upgrades to the entire first floor of the stadium; the second-floor concourse and third-floor suites and restaurant continue being retrofitted.

“The T5 Retrofit Kit seemed like the perfect solution for the energy-saving project the organization was looking for. It not only provided this facility with instant energy savings, but also qualified for an incentive from Energize Delaware’s Efficiency Plus Business Program,” said CES Sales Manager Al Subach.
