Eaton Names Jonsson VP, Technology And Chief Technology Officer For Electrical Group

Lennart Jonsson has been named vice president, technology, and chief technology officer for Eaton Corp.'s Electrical Group.

Lennart Jonsson has been named vice president, technology, and chief technology officer for the Electrical Group. In his new role, Jonsson will be responsible for advancing the Electrical Group’s engineering and technology capabilities. He will also have strategic leadership responsibility for the Electrical Group’s global design centers. Since joining Eaton with the Powerware acquisition in 2004, he has been the senior engineering manager responsible for the development of all power quality products globally. Jonsson began his career with Nea-Lindberg AS, Copenhagen, Denmark. He later joined Ulveco Power Systems in Stockholm, Sweden. After that, he worked for Fiskars Power Systems OY/AB, Helsinki as director of product development and subsequently relocated from Sweden to the United States to serve as vice president of engineering at Deltec Electronics Corp. Jonsson joined Exide Electronics/Powerware and served as vice president of engineering and later moved to the Invensys Power Systems/Powerware as the vice president of engineering and new product development.
