The show's Educational Conference is designed for all levels of professionals with “how-to” instructional courses to cutting-edge sessions on the latest technology and trends. In addition, this year's program will address contracting issues ranging from how to run a more profitable contracting business to succession planning. The 2002 conference tracks will include:

  • The 2002 NE Code changes
  • Emerging Technologies
  • Lighting Design
  • Power Quality
  • Professional Development
  • Voice/Data Security

The 2002 NE Code changes program will provide day-long coverage of the Code changes that directly impact your work. Sessions include NE Code guru Mike Holt's Understanding the 2002 National Electrical Code and Grounding and Bonding Systems and BICSI Master Instructor Ron Shaver's Voice/Data Systems.

Electric West is owned by EM's parent company, Primedia Business Magazines & Media. This is the first time that Electric West will be offering the BICSI voice/data certification courses.
