Lutron Makes $250,000 Donation To NAED Foundation

The National Association of Electrical Distributors (NAED), St. Louis, announced a $250,000 commitment by Lutron Electronics Co., Inc. to the NAED Education & Research Foundation.

The National Association of Electrical Distributors (NAED), St. Louis, announced a $250,000 commitment by Lutron Electronics Co., Inc. to the NAED Education & Research Foundation.

Lutron Electronics Co. Inc. was founded by Joel and Ruth Spira in 1961. The company provides lighting control solutions. Lutron’s corporate headquarters are located in Coopersburg, Pa., (northwest of Philadelphia) and their global sales and service efforts are supported worldwide with offices located throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East.

The company’s donation will become part of an endowment fund for the NAED Education & Research Foundation. The principal amount of the endowment will remain untouched, while the interest will be used to commission future projects and studies. As a $250,000 contributor, Lutron Electronics will be recognized at the guarantor level and have a permanent position on the Channel Advantage Partnership Council, which will help select future educational programs and research projects.
