Maxis Corp. Acquires Wire Wagon

Maxis Corp., Mesa, Ariz., a developer of cable pulling and hole making tools for electricians, acquired Elder Designs Inc. of Arapaho, Okla. Elder Designs is the maker of the wire and service cart line, Wire Wagon.

“We found that Wire Wagon was by far the best line of wire carts available and we knew we had to have it,” said James Jarvis, president of Maxis.

Wire Wagon has a line of wire and service carts that include such products as the Model 101, 105 and Work-n-Wagon.

“We are excited to work with Maxis,” said Doyle Elder, president of Elder Designs Inc. “They are a young and aggressive company that will provide the right distribution network for our line.” The line of tools acquired from Elder Designs Inc. will be labeled and distributed under the Maxis Corp. name.
