Baynes Electric Supply (Brockton, Mass.): Brian Harley joined the company as an outside sales manager.

Baynes Electric Supply (Brockton, Mass.): Brian Harley joined the company as an outside sales manager. Harley joins Baynes from EA Langenfeld, a sales, marketing, consulting and service organization, where he ran the Northeast sales operation. Additionally, John Malcolm joins the company as counter manager at the Brockton, Mass., location.

Summit Electric Supply (Albuquerque, N.M.): With more than 30 years of industry experience, Drew Ott joins Summit Electric as vice president of sales. Ott had been a regional vice president with Hughes Supply Inc.

The National Association of Electrical Distributors (NAED, St. Louis, Mo.): Tammy Miller, CEO of Border States Electric Supply, Fargo, N.D., has been named incoming chair-elect of the NAED board of directors. Miller will serve as chair-elect in 2006-2007, preparing to lead the NAED board of directors in 2007-2008. Miller will be the first woman to serve as NAED board chair. NAED is currently led by Bill Elliott, president of Elliott Electric Supply, Nacogdoches, Texas. At NAED’s annual meeting held April 22-26, John Duda, chairman and CEO of Butler Supply Inc., St. Louis, Mo., will become NAED chairman of the board for the 2006-2007 year.

Rexel Inc. (Dallas): With 10 years of advertising and marketing experience, Coretta Turner joins Rexel as marketing specialist with responsibility for vendor co-op and marketing funds. She’ll coordinate her efforts with Rexel’s Dallas-based product management team and marketing managers in Rexel’s six geographic divisions.

Shat-R-Shield (Salisbury, N.C.) John Kehs has been appointed vice president for finance and administration. Kehs joined Shat-R-Shield as controller in April 2005. He has more than 20 years of experience.

Stahlin Non-Metallic Enclosures (Belding, Mich.): Ed Atanasoff, who joined Stahlin last year as quality engineer, has been promoted to quality manager after enthusiastically leading the manufacturer’s efforts in ISO registration. Prior to joining Stahlin, Atanasoff had over 25 years of experience in quality and plant management.

Leviton (Little Neck, N.Y.): Joseph Geigel has been appointed senior product/marketing manager for Leviton Integrated Networks & Controls Residential Systems Group. From his career spanning more than 17 years, Geigel brings a diverse background in marketing, engineering, product planning and development for the industrial and commercial controls industry.

Minerallac/Cully (Addison, Ill.): Effective May 19, Jim Hlavacek will become president of Minerallac/Cully. Hlavacek has been with the company since 1990. He succeeds John Alton, who is retiring. Alton will remain as a member of the board of directors.

OneSource Distributors (Oceanside, Calif.): Mike Smith has joined OneSource Distributors as senior vice president and chief operating officer. He brings a wealth of experience to OneSource through his background in the distribution and technology industries. Smith comes to OneSource from Intuit/Eclipse where he spent eight years as a senior leader of their technology, implementation and distribution software development team. Prior to Eclipse, he spent seven years as vice president of operations and finance at Roden Electrical Supply, Knoxville, Tenn.
