Schaedler Yesco Distribution Inc. (Harrisburg, Pa.): Mathew E. Brnik has been appointed president. Brnik succeeds James D. Schaedler, who will remain chief executive officer and chairman of the board and will continue to be active in the company’s day-to-day operations.

Schaedler Yesco Distribution Inc. (Harrisburg, Pa.): Mathew E. Brnik has been appointed president. Brnik joined Schaedler Yesco in 2000 as vice president sale and marketing after a 25-year career with General Electric and Rockwell Automation. Brnik succeeds James D. Schaedler, who will remain chief executive officer and chairman of the board and will continue to be active in the company’s day-to-day operations.

Coleman Cable Inc. (Waukegan, Ill.): Kurt Hennelly has been named group vice president responsible for Coleman Cable’s consumer group and global sourcing. During his 18 years with Coleman Cable, Hennelly has held a variety of manufacturing, engineering, sales, and management positions. Ken McAllister has been appointed group vice president, specialty group. In this new position, McAllister will oversee the company’s specialty businesses: security/home automation, OEM, government, recreation, transportation, HVAC, irrigation and industrial distribution. McAllister joined Coleman Cable from General Cable Co., where he has held a number of senior management positions over the past 16 years. Kathy Jo Van has been appointed group vice president, electrical group, responsible for the electrical distribution, wire/cable and electronic distribution businesses. Most recently, Van was vice president electrical distribution. She joined Coleman Cable in 2000 after 14 years in the distribution industry. Greg MacDonald has been appointed vice president electrical distribution. His experience in the wire industry spans 20 years. Gene Stang has been appointed vice president, wire and cable distribution. Stang has been with Coleman Cable for 19 years, serving most recently as vice president, product management.

Stuart C. Irby Co. (Jackson, Miss.): Michael Wigton has joined Stuart C. Irby Co. as chief operating officer. Wigton was formerly with Hughes Supply where he served as vice president of sales and service in the utility division.

Cooper Industries Ltd. (Houston): Michael A. Stoessl has been appointed group president of Cooper Power Systems division, replacing William D. Martino, who retired at the end of 2004. Since August 2002, Stoessl had been president of Cooper Bussmann. Stoessl joined Cooper Bussmann from Emerson Electric Co.

Allscape (Santa Ana, Calif.): Robert Hemple has rejoined Allscape, a division of the JJI Lighting Group Inc., as the company’s first full-time Eastern regional sales manager. Hemple left Allscape in 2001 to join Quality Lighting, a sister manufacturer.

Beckhoff Automation (Minneapolis): Skip Hansen has been appointed product manager of I/O Systems. Prior to accepting this new position, Hansen served as Beckhoff sales and marketing manager for Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, Kansas and the Dakotas.

Leviton Manufacturing Co. (Little Neck, N.Y.): Mark Guymon has been promoted to director of technical marketing programs for Leviton’s Voice & Data Division. In this new position, Guymon will manage Leviton’s Specification Engineering Program, the Certified Cabling System (CCS) Program and warranty programs. Guymon joined Leviton in 2002 as product manager for Copper Systems and later was promoted to senior manager for the Data Center Program.

Meridian Systems (Folsom, Calif.): The enterprise solution provider for optimizing the plan, build and operate phases of real estate, construction and other infrastructure programs, announced the appointment of Marty Listberger to director of channel and inside sales. Listberger holds more than 23-years IT experience.

Nexans (New Holland, Pa.): Bill Barrett has been promoted to vice president, general market, USA for Nexans Energy USA Inc. division. In this role, Barrett is responsible for U.S. sales activities for the electrical distributor market.

Osram Sylvania (Danvers, Mass.): Francis Piscitelli, senior vice president of sales and customer service for Osram Sylvania, was recently named to the board of The Home Safety Council, Washington, D.C., a national nonprofit organization dedicated to reducing the risk of home injuries.

Power Measurement (Victoria, British Columbia): Dan Button has been appointed district sales manager for northern California and northern Nevada. Button comes to Power Measurement from Syllogistix Integration.

Omni Cable (West Chester, Pa.): With more than 17 years of wire and cable experience, Mike Fitzpatrick has been appointed strategic national account manager. Additionally, Chris Regan, a 10-year Omni veteran, has been appointed branch manager of the West Chester, Pa., location. Regan will move this branch into a new 80,000-square-foot facility in early March.

National Lighting Bureau (Silver Spring, Md.): James “Jim” Yorgey, technical applications manager of Lutron Electronics Co.’s professional audio/visual (ProA/V) channel, has been elected to a third term as chair of the National Lighting Bureau. Douglass “Doug” Baillie of Acuity Brands Lighting was re-elected vice chair, and Robert “Rob” Colgan of the National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA) was re-elected Secretary/Treasurer. Others elected to serve on the National Lighting Bureau Executive Committee include: Jon A. DiGesu (Osram Sylvania Inc.), Mary Beth Gotti (GE Lighting), Mary Jane Kolar (National Council on Qualifications for the Lighting Professions), Paul Lienesch (Philips Lighting Co.), Terry McGowan (International Dark-sky Association), Cary S. Mendelsohn (interNational Association of Lighting Management Cos.), Cynthia Nottoli (Advance Transformer), Scott Watson (International Association of Lighting Designers), and David Weems (U.S. General Services Administration).

Tuscaloosa Electrical Supply Inc. (Tuscaloosa, Ala.): A 16-year Tuscaloosa Electrical Supply veteran, Bennie Atkinson has been named sales manager. His previous positions include outside sales and automation market specialist.

EGS Electrical Group (Rosemont, Ill.): EGS Electrical Group, a joint venture between Emerson Electric Co. and SPX Corp., has promoted Andy Schwegel to vice president of marketing for the company’s electrical construction materials group (ECM). Formerly director of channel marketing, Schwegel joined EGS Electrical Group in 2002.

Sea Gull Lighting Products Inc. (Riverside, N.J.): Stephen Mitchell, a 13-year sales industry veteran with extensive experience in the lighting industry, has been named director of retail sales. Most recently, he was director of national accounts at Simkar Corp./Kalco Lighting.

Fluke Corp. (Everett, Wash.): Rick Laporte has been named vice president of sales for Fluke’s industrial businesses. Laporte comes to Fluke from Gems Sensors, another subsidiary of Fluke’s parent corporation, Danaher, where he served as the vice president of sales and marketing.

Crescent Electric Supply Co. (East Dubuque, Ill.): With 20 years of sales and sales management experience, Richard C. Cody joins Crescent Electric as vice president, sales. Additionally, with 33 years industry experience, Richard “Dick” Hoffman has joined Crescent Electric as Western area manager, and Mark Sommers became the Eastern area manager after many years with General Electric Co.

Cooper Wiring Devices (Peachtree City, Ga.): With more than 20 years experience, Jeff Alva joins Cooper Wiring Devices as manager of marketing communications, merchandising and packaging. Alva previously served at Phillips Electronics as senior manager of merchandising and marketing.
