Buckles-Smith (San Jose, Calif) :David Dohm has joined Buckles-Smith as business development manager for the company’s Salinas Service Center. He brings significant experience in the electrical distribution industry including technical sales and management positions at One Source distributors in Southern California and Central Wholesale in Northern California. Dohm majored in electrical engineering at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, holds the MCSE and RCDD credentials and is an experienced electrician. In other news at Buckles-Smith, Kelli Elliott has joined the company as account manager in the company’s Palo Alto Service Center. She has 15 years of industry experience in field sales, most recently with Rockwell Automation in the San Francisco Bay Area. Elliott holds a bachelors degree from University of California at Irvine and an MBA from UC Davis.
Powers Fasteners Inc. (Bewster, N.Y.):David Steiner has joined the company as vice president of trade development. In this newly created position, Steiner will focus on assisting Powers to obtain major contracts with large contractors and major projects. He will work with Mark Ziegler, who oversees Powers Engineering, and Jack Zenor, who manages Powers New Business Development, to focus on primarily Hilti business in both the construction and industrial markets. Steiner brings extensive capabilities having worked for Hilti for 16 years, most recently as division sales manager and formerly director of strategic business.
