Roden Electrical Supply Co. (Knoxville, Tenn.): Neil Gillespie has been named vice president, marketing and strategic development. Gillespie had consulted for Roden since 1995 as one of the principals of Channel Marketing Group, Pittsburgh.
Summit Electric Supply (Albuquerque, N.M.): Larry Keils has been promoted to senior product manager. Previously, Keils was inventory control manager at Summit’s service center in Dallas. Keils joins Scott Van Deventer, Summit’s other senior product manager. The two are charged with directing the management of inventory at the distributor’s 19 locations across the Southwest and Gulf Coast. Keils will remain in Dallas while Van Deventer works out of the company’s headquarters in Albuquerque.
Stahlin Non-Metallic Enclosures (Belding, Mich.): With more than 15 years of experience in the electrical enclosures industry, Jeffrey Seagle has been named president. Prior to this appointment, Seagle was Stahlin’s general manager and has led the company to significant growth.
Ideal Industries Inc. (Sycamore, Ill.): With more than 13 years of experience in the electrical industry, Warren Jenkins has been named central regional manager. Jenkins comes to Ideal from FCI/Burndy Products where he also served as central regional manager.
National Association of Electrical Distributors (NAED, St. Louis, Mo.): Glenn Goedecke, division manager of Mayer Electric Supply Co. Inc., Birmingham, Ala., has been named the incoming vice president-elect for the association’s South Central Region. Goedecke will lead the region in 2007-2008. The South Central Region is currently headed by Mike Ales, vice president of purchasing and operations for Werner Electric Supply, Neenah, Wis. In May, George Adams Jr., president and CEO of the Florida-based Electric Supply of Tampa Inc., will become South Central Region Vice President for the 2006-2007 year.
