EGS Electrical Group (Rosemont, Ill.): Jean-Baptiste Trolle has been promoted to VP of marketing and business development for the ECM business segment

EGS Electrical Group (Rosemont, Ill.): Jean-Baptiste Trolle has been promoted to VP of marketing and business development for the ECM business segment. Trolle has been with the EGS organization since its acquisition of ATX in 1998, serving the company in various sales and marketing roles. In this new role he will manage the Appleton and O-Z/Gedney product marketing team, the sales and marketing integration of the newly-acquired Nutsteel business, and the acquisition activity supporting EGS.

The company also announced several other promotions. Kerry Nedic has been promoted to director, pricing and technical support; Jason Overbey is being promoted to director of marketing; and Dan Douglass is being promoted to director of marketing responsible for sales support and business development.

In other personnel changes at Emerson, Craig Morris has been promoted to the newly-created position of VP, global accounts. Kevin Jacks, currently director of global accounts, will replace Morris as director of sales, Southwest Region.

Jim Gibson has been appointed to area manager, Canada for Appleton, O/Z-Gedney and SolaHD. A 15-year veteran of the electrical and automation industries, he joined EGS in 2005 and has held positions of ascending responsibility within SolaHD, most recently Northeast Region manager.

The National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA) (Rosslyn, Va.): NEMA elected the following individuals to its board of governors during its recent annual meeting in Palm Beach, Fla.: Susan Graham, Elantas PDG; Luis Ramirez, GE Energy; Kenan Sahin, TIAX; Gabriel Garza, Prolec; and Greg Sebasky, Philips Electronics North America.

Northwire Technical Cable (Osceola, Wis.): Greg Reese is now Eastern regional sales manager. He comes to the company with more than 16 years of experience as a product manager, sales manager and design engineer for cable assembly and electrical connection systems. Most recently Reese was product line sales manager and regional sales manager for a New York-based original equipment manufacturer of harsh-environment electrical connection systems and custom cable assemblies for the industrial/commercial and military/aerospace markets. He has an MBA from the University of Phoenix and a BA from Kent State University.

Halco Technologies (Norcross, Ga.): Sarah Kulesza was hired as marketing associate. She recently graduated from Middle Tennessee State University with a BS in mass communications and a concentration in public relations. Kulesza will be reporting to Deby Forster, marketing manager, and contributing to the company’s business-to-business marketing operations.

ConEdison Solutions (Valhalla, N.Y.): James Dixon, vice president of energy services was named chairman of the National Association of Energy Service Companies (NAESCO), Washington, D.C. As chairman, Dixon will direct the activities of NAESCO’s board of directors, oversee the organization’s committees, coordinate with NAESCO staff on advocacy issues and help plan national and regional industry conferences. In addition to his position with ConEd Solutions, Dixon is an attorney and professional engineer in New York State, and a retired major in the U.S. Army Reserves.

Cape Electrical Supply (Cape Girardeau, Mo.): John Horgan is the company’s new CFO. He joined the firm on Oct. 1 after completing seven years at Amdoc. Prior to that he was employed at Olin Metals, Trendmasters and Pretium Packaging in a variety of senior financial and operational roles. He began his career with Ernst & Young in St. Louis and spent more than 12 years in public accounting. Horgan is a CPA and holds a BSBA from St. Louis University where he is presently completing his MBA.

Lighting Science Group Corp. (Satellite Beach, Fla.): John Bono is now VP for strategic accounts. Prior to joining Lighting Science Group, Bono worked for eight years at Acuity Brands Lighting where he was most recently the vice president of utility sales and was responsible for sales management and utility sales to agencies servicing investor-owned utilities, rural electric cooperatives and municipal electric markets for American Electric Lighting, dark-to-light photocontrols, Holophane and remote operations asset management.
