Services LLC (Chester Springs, Pa.): Carl Brand has been appointed regional president. He will have
responsibility for the Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, eastern Massachusetts and
Rhode Island markets. He has more than 30 years of industry experience. Most
recently, he was executive vice president of Pat Patuto & Son Electrical
Contractors. Before that, he was president of Sonepar’s NorthEast
Electrical/Eagle Electric Supply. Honeywell (Pleasant Prairie, Wis.): David Coleman has been
promoted to sales manager for the CE Channel of its Genesis Series Cable
Products. He will report to Joe Nitiss, vice
president of marketing and business development. In his new role, Coleman will
be instrumental in strengthening relationships with CE dealers and growing
cable sales in this sales channel. In addition, he will coordinate activities
centered on cable product identification, marketing partnerships and developing
synergy with other Honeywell brands. Prior to his promotion, Coleman was regional
manager. Border States (Fargo N.D.): Matthew Eddleman has been appointed vice president-southwest region.
Eddleman joined Border States in June 2005, and has general management
responsibilities for the company’s southwest region, which includes seven branches
in Arizona, New Mexico, Texas and Mexico. He has more than 20 years of
electrical-industry experience. Before joining Border States, he served in
sales and marketing as well as general management positions for Rexel. On-Q/Legrand (Harrisburg, Pa.) Stephen Schoffstall has been named the company’s new vice president of
marketing. An Internet and e-commerce veteran, Schoffstall joined On-Q/Legrand,
then named On-Q Technologies, in 2003 as vice-president of business
development. Since then, he spearheaded the company’s shift to On-Q Home, which
targeted consumer education of home-technology products as a way to drive
demand for the company’s installer market. Omni Cable (West Chester, Pa.): Omni Cable announces several new
appointments in their sales and marketing department. Tim Bright has been appointed national account manager for GE
Supply accounts. His primary responsibility will be to enhance the GE Supply
relationship. He joins the electrical industry after a long career selling for
Kodak and several information tech companies marketing to food distribution. James Masters will be the assistant to sales and marketing. He will
focus on Omni’s commitment to the National Association of Electrical
Distributors (NAED) and its conferences and programs. Ryan MacDonald joins the sales department in a newly created
position as residential product specialist. Siemens Building Technologies
Inc. (Buffalo Grove, Ill): Jennifer
Olmstead has been appointed vice
president of human resources for the company’s U.S. operations. She succeeds Fred Cardina who will split his time between Siemens Building
Technologies and a new assignment with Siemens Corp. developing HR services and
support programs for all Siemens U.S. operating companies. Zero Surge (Frenchtown, N.J.): Michael Weinhoffer has joined the company as director of sales.
Weinhoffer will be responsible for overseeing all of Zero Surge’s national and
international sales divisions. Weinhoffer has more than 10 years of experience
in high technology sales and Pentadyne Power Corp. (Chatsworth, Calif.): Mark E. McGough has been appointed president and CEO. With more than
20 years of experience growing international and domestic energy firms, McGough
brings to Pentadyne added expertise in new technology launches, strategic
alliances and profit-and-loss management, along with sales, marketing and
engineering leadership in the energy- Rexel Inc. (Dallas): Mark Duke was
recently named director of pricing, a newly created position. His
responsibilities now include developing and maintaining competitive pricing
strategies for all products sold by Rexel’s more than 280 U.S. locations. Duke
has worked in four other positions with Rexel over the last nine years. Most
recently, he was corporate vendor program manager for Rexel. He previously
served as inventory asset manager, buyer and E3 divisional coordinator. Cooper Industries Ltd. (Houston): James T. Pendley
has been appointed to the newly created position of chief marketing officer. He
will be responsible for leading Cooper’s corporate and strategic marketing
initiatives, including brand management, sales force effectiveness, and
customer relationship management and loyalty programs. He will also lead
efforts to standardize and revitalize marketing processes across the company.
Pendley joins Cooper following a 12-year tenure with The Black & Decker
Corp. Schaedler Yesco (Harrisburg, Pa.): Schaedler Yesco has added new sales
staff. John Polites has
been named automation engineer and will focus on the HVAC and mechanical
contractor markets. Rick Macak has
taken the position of outside sales in State College, Pa., and surrounding
areas. Alfred Lew has been
named data comm specialist. His responsibilities include data comm
application/design assistance for industrial, contractor and commercial
customers in the Williamsport, Pa., and State College areas. James Chambers is now responsible for outside sales in State
College, Pa., and surrounding areas. Thomas Finn has
taken the position of outside sales for Williamsport, Pa., and surrounding
areas. Tresa Mitzel has
been named project coordinator in the construction department. Her
responsibilities include job expediting and follow-up for lighting and gear
products. Kerry Betz has been
named automation engineer for Rockwell Automation Products. Tammy Leber is now commercial market specialist. Her responsibilities
include developing and expanding commercial business in the areas of retail,
heath care and education as well as local, state and federal government.
