Rome Cable Corp. Files Chapter 7
Rome Cable, Rome, N.Y., for years a well known name in the wire
industry, has closed its doors, just two months after filing for
Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection on July 30.
An announcement on the home page of the company’s Web site
said simply, “The Rome Cable Corporation, after many years of
great service, has filed for Chapter 7 liquidation and is liquidating
all inventory of finished goods and raw materials. Click on the
following links to view the inventory that is currently being
liquidated: Finished Inventory (and) Raw Materials.”
