Schneider Electric Promotes Huntington To Top Posts

Amelia A. Huntington has been promoted to chief operating officer for the Schneider Electric North American Operating Division and president of Schneider Electric USA, effective Jan. 1.

The Schneider Electric North American Operating Division(Palatine, Ill.): Amelia A. Huntington has been promoted to chief operating officer for the North American Operating Division and president of Schneider Electric USA, effective Jan. 1. Chris Curtis will remain CEO of the North American Operating Division, as well as assume additional responsibilities in leading Schneider Electric’s global Building Automation and Energy Efficiency business. Curtis is also a member of the Schneider Electric Executive Committee. In her new role, Huntington will have North American Operating Division managerial responsibility for the United States, Canada, Mexico, Juno Lighting Group and several other core Division functions and business operations. Huntington joined Square D and Schneider Electric in 1988, and has had a long career in sales and channel marketing management, as vice president of corporate quality, and as vice president and senior vice president Strategic Accounts and Schneider Global Business Development, respectively. Prior to the president and CEO leadership position of Juno Lighting Group in 2006, she also served as senior vice president, Business Development and Strategy for the North American Operating Division.
