More than 200 industry executives attended a gala celebration of Springfield Electric Supply Co.’s 75th anniversary at the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum on May 31, in Springfield, Ill.

Since opening its first facility in 1932, the family-owned company has grown to employ more than 200 people with average annual sales exceeding $100 million. The company currently has 11 locations: Bloomington, Champaign, Danville, Decatur, East Peoria, Mt. Vernon, Mattoon, Moline, Peru, Rockford, and Springfield. With more than 250 top-quality product lines and 20,000 products in stock, The company’s is ranked as the 58th largest electrical distributor on this year’s Top 200 ranking published by Electrical Wholesaling magazine, with $121 million in sales and 230 employees.

In conjunction with the 75-year milestone and to convey its dedication to meeting the needs of its customers, Springfield Electric is rolling out a new corporate identity and branding. "We think this is the perfect time to implement new marketing and advertising campaigns that showcase who we are and what we can do; building Springfield Electric’s brand equity for the years ahead," said Alan Baum, the company’s vice president of marketing.
