Leviton Manufacturing Co., Little Neck, N.Y., has entered into a strategic partnership with EnOcean GmbH to offer a line of self-powered occupancy sensors that increase energy efficiency and require no new wiring. The company’s new wireless offering includes occupancy sensors, remote switches, wall switches and integrated wireless receivers that automatically turn lights on when occupancy is detected and off when the room is no longer occupied. The products are suitable for a wide range of commercial applications, including use in conference rooms, classrooms, open areas of buildings and private office spaces.
