The Wiremold Co., West Hartford, Conn., has joined Affiliated Distributors (A-D), a King of Prussia, Pa., buying/marketing group, as a preferred supplier.
According to Greg Crane, Wiremold manager of distribution marketing, “Many of our distributors have requested that we join A-D for years, and we are responding to that request. This affiliation is a natural extension of our commitment to the profitability of our line and to distribution. A-D Preferred Supplier status enhances our existing Synergy distributor initiative.”
John Hoffman, Wiremold’s vice president, sales, added, “This is just one part of our efforts to become even more customer-focused. We see A-D as a great opportunity to work with independent distributors to grow together.”
A-D is the largest distribution organization for electrical, industrial MRO and plumbing supplies in North America. Crane said distributors would benefit from A-D Preferred Supplier status through targeted marketing programs and more efficient operations.
