John Peterson joins EGS

EGS Electrical Group, Skokie, Ill., announced two key appointments
to its Appleton and O-Z/Gedney sales and marketing team. Tim Rooney was
named vice president of sales with initial responsibility for the
company¹s Central Region. He joins EGS with more than 25 years of
electrical industry experience, most recently as vice president of
national accounts for Cooper Industries. Following a transitional
period, Rooney will assume responsibly for all national sales.
Named to the post of vice president of sales, Gulf Coast Region is
John Peterson, a 15-year veteran of Cooper Industries and Crouse Hinds,
as well as the former president of Warren Electric. Peterson's region
is comprised of Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana, and Southern
Mississippi, markets heavily involved in the production of
petrochemicals and critical to the sale of Appleton and O-Z/Gedney
hazardous location products.
