Cooper Industries Ltd., Bermuda, appointed Kevin C. Kissling as president of its Cooper B-Line division. Kissling will report to Kirk Hachigian, executive vice president and chief operating officer,Electrical Products, Cooper Industries.
Kissling joins Cooper B-Line from Emerson Electric Co., St. Louis, Mo., where he had been employed since 1988, most recently as vice president and general manager, Dayton Motor Division. Kissling is replacing Thomas E. Briggs who was named in December 2002 as Cooper's vice president, Sales and Marketing, Cooper Connection. "Kevin brings a solid background of finance, marketing and commercial experience to Cooper B-Line," said Hachigian. "During his career, he has successfully implemented initiatives that have resulted in increased revenue and market share growth. In addition, he has had proven success in enhancing profitability and margin gain through commercial positioning strategies and product development programs.
