Circuit Breaker Sales acquires Federal Pacific Equipment

Circuit Breaker Sales Co., Inc. (CBS), Gainesville, Texas, a dealer in new and used circuit breakers, switchgear and related components, is acquiring Federal Pacific Equipment, Inc. (FPE), Brick, N.J. In addition to FPE's parts, components, and inventory, CBS also acquired the company’s technical and historical libraries. Details of the acquisition were not disclosed.

“By adding Federal Pacific Equipment’s technical library to the ITE specification documents we acquired in 2007, Circuit Breaker Sales is now one of the largest providers of new, replacement and remanufactured parts for the industrial circuit breaker industry,” says Bill Schofield, president of CBS.
