GE and ABB win power contracts in Middle East

Bloomberg reported today that GE won a $200 million contract in Saudi Arabia with Saudi Electricity Co. (SECO), the kingdom's largest utility to provide power generation equipment, control systems and services. Meanwhile, Zacks reported that ABB Ltd. inked a deal to sell a power distribution management system to Iraq's Ministry of Electricity to make the country's power grid more reliable.
