Companies Contribute To Tsunami Relief Efforts

Leading by example, Bob Compagna, president of CLS, Hartford, Conn., inspired his company’s employees to help victims of the recent tsunami disaster by offering to match their donations 2 to 1.

Leading by example, Bob Compagna, president of CLS, Hartford, Conn., inspired his company’s employees to help victims of the recent tsunami disaster by offering to match their donations 2 to 1.

Employee donations totaled $5,375 to which Compagna added another $10,750. As a result of these CLS efforts, the American Red Cross Tsunami Relief Fund received a total donation of $16,125. CLS is ranked No. 28 on EW’s most recent “Top 200.”

LEDtronics Inc., a southern California technology-based company, matched the funds donated by its employees to help those affected by the Dec. 26 tsunami. They raised more than $5,000 for the Red Cross Tsunami Relief Fund.
