Progress Lighting Signs Exclusive Agreement with Toll Brothers

Progress Lighting, Spartansburg, S.C., one of the nation's largest residential lighting manufacturers, has signed a two-year agreement with Toll Brothers

Progress Lighting, Spartansburg, S.C., one of the nation's largest residential lighting manufacturers, has signed a two-year agreement with Toll Brothers Inc. to fulfill that company's lighting fixture requirements through October 2003.

Toll Brothers, Huntingdon Valley, Pa., is one of the nation's largest homebuilders in the luxury home market. The company generated $2.2 billion in revenues and $213 million in earnings in fiscal 2001.

“We are pleased to establish this business alliance with Toll Brothers,” said Jim Decker, vice president of marketing for Progress Lighting. “As leaders in our respective categories, Toll Brothers and Progress Lighting will continue to prove our commitment to homeowners by offering luxury homes with high-quality lighting products and superior customer service.”

Toll Brothers selected Progress Lighting “for their quality light fixture offerings at competitive pricing,” said Mike Smith, Toll's director of purchasing and product standards.

Progress Lighting has more than 300 builder-purchase agreements, and exclusive agreements with four of the top 10 largest homebuilders. These agreements include the company's ‘Profit Builder’ program, which offers homebuilders lighting fixture upgrade programs, factory-direct field sales support, a nationwide network of stocking distributors, no-charge support services, and home buyer warranties and replacement of parts and glass for home buyers.
