General Cable Corp. (Highland Heights, Ky.): Charles McClure, CEO and chairman of Arvin Meritor Inc., a manufacturer of parts and systems for the trucking industry, and Patrick Prevost, CEO, Cabot Corp., a manufacturer of specialty chemicals, are now on General Cable Corp.'s board of directors.
Legrand (West Hartford, Conn.): Susan Rochford has been appointed vice president, Energy Efficiency, Sustainability and Public Policy, for Legrand North America.
Leviton Manufacturing Co. Inc (Melville, N.Y.): The company recently announced two appointments: Chris Carrella is now director of technology for distribution marketing and sales and Jeffrey Weinberg is Southwest regional sales manager for the company's Lighting Management Systems. In his new role, Carrella will lead the implementation of cost-effective technology solutions to support Leviton's customer-centric marketing and sales initiatives. He has held various IT positions at the company. Before joining Leviton, he held a variety of positions in the information technology field with Cablevision, Publishers Clearing House and Chase Auto Finance. He holds a BA in business administration from C.W. Post College.
In his new post, Weinberg will lead the expansion of the company's energy-management systems throughout the Pacific Southwest. He began his career with the company in 1997 as a sales representative for American Insulated Wire (AIW), a Leviton subsidiary, and later went on to represent Leviton's OEM solutions business where he grew lampholder revenue in the hydroponic industry and increased sales of the company's GFCI devices and wireless lighting and appliance control products. Weinberg holds a BS in communications from the University of Arizona.
Lighting Supply Co. (Ferndale, Mich.): Matt McIntosh was recently appointed sales manager and will be responsible for driving the company's strategic sales growth through value-added services, product expansion and alignment with energy-saving programs that offer incentives for lighting upgrades. Prior to joining Lighting Supply Co., McIntosh spent five years in branch sales and management with Consolidated Electrical Distributors (CED). He has a BA degree in sales and business marketing from Western Michigan University.
ALP Lighting Components (Niles, Ill.): Kurt Puffpaff has been promoted to national sales manager for the company's LexaLite brand products, which include the Reflexor series of injection molded reflector/refractors, the Lindy nostalgic post-top refractor line, specialty lighting films such as Lumieo, Microlinear and Flexilume and other optical lighting products. Puffpaff has been in the lighting business since 1993 when he started as a territory manager for LexaLite.
Encorp LLC (Fort Collins, Colo.): Scott Kolek has been named commercial operations director. He brings more than 20 years of energy-industry experience to Encorp, which develops products that enable hospitals, manufacturers, office buildings, schools and other sites to reduce energy costs by generating their own electrical power using various fuel sources, including renewables. Kolek holds a BA in electrical engineering from the University of Minnesota.
Service Wire Co., (Culloden, W. Va.): Morgan Kirbie and Adam Craft have joined the company's Houston sales team. Kirbie comes to Service Wire with four years of experience working for electrical distributors in the Houston and Dallas markets. In his new role at Service Wire, Kirbie is managing accounts in the Arkansas, Kansas, New Mexico and Oklahoma territories. Craft is a graduate of the University of Charleston, where he obtained his masters degree in business administration while playing and coaching college football. He is the creator of Sani-Touch Systems and inventor of the “Escleaner,” an attachment device designed to continuously clean escalator handrails.
EcoSense Lighting (New York): Robert McCulley has joined the lighting fixture manufacturer as V.P. of sales and marketing for the Americas, and Neil Gamble has been promoted to V.P. of sales and marketing for Europe and the Middle East. Together they bring nearly 40 years of lighting industry experience to EcoSense. McCulley will lead the expansion of the company's business development, sales and marketing initiatives in the U.S., Canada and Mexico as well as Central and South America. He spent nearly 10 years as part of the sales organization at Color Kinetics, establishing market strategies and a manufacturer network for the professional lighting segment. He has also held positions with Renaissance Lighting, American Light Inc./Facility Solutions Group and E. Sam Jones.
Gamble is now responsible for the company's business development, sales and marketing initiatives in the European and Middle East markets. Prior to joining EcoSense as director of sales, he was director of sales for Europe/Middle East with Philips Lighting and Color Kinetics, He has also held business development and sales positions with Wila Luechten GmbH in Germany and Thorn Lighting Ltd. in the U.K.
