NECA Develops Fuse Applications Standard

The National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA) has teamed up with three fuse manufacturers to develop a standard on fuse applications.

The new National Electrical Installation Standard will offer application guidelines and safe work practices for the use of fuses in electrical construction and maintenance applications.

Brooke Stauffer, executive director for standards and safety for NECA, says NECA prefers to partner with product manufacturers or industry expert groups on the development of these standards.
