French Gerleman (St. Louis): Jim Engelhard has been promoted to vice president of construction sales. Engelhard joined French Gerleman in November 2004 as construction sales manager for the company’s Maryland Heights, Mo., and Washington, Mo., branches. In his new position, he will continue to focus his team on growing electrical contractor sales in the same two branches. Engelhard has more than 18 years of experience in the electrical distribution industry. Before joining French Gerleman, he was with General Electric for 15 years in various positions.

Eoff Electric Supply (Portland, Ore.): Eric Wiesmann has been named Salem branch manager. Wiesmann, a native Oregonian, has worked for General Electric his entire 17-year career, serving as a sales representative to Eoff Electric. Wiesmann has had a heavy emphasis on customer service to the contractor and industrial customer, a customer base Wiesmann has served during his long stint at GE.

Middle Atlantic Products (Fairfield, N.J.): Jonathan Pope has been appointed the company’s second regional sales manager in the western United States. In his new role, Pope will be responsible for supporting and assisting customers throughout the 13 western states with particular focus on the Pacific Northwest area. Pope brings more than 12 years of industry experience with him, with specific experience in the professional video, broadcast, and digital signage industries as well as the AV industry. Richard Lefkowitz has been appointed electrical/electronic engineering manager. Lefkowitz will lead company efforts to develop new and innovative product lines as well as improve and expand existing product lines. Lefkowitz will also oversee Middle Atlantic Products’ electrical/electronic product development, manufacturing and cost reduction (DFM/DFA), including efforts to improve testing, product validation, reliability and design guidelines, among other responsibilities. and Murray Williams has been appointed electrical/electronic products manager. Lefkowitz has more than 20 years of experience in engineering management, project management and hands-on design in a broad range of technologies, including networking, datacomm and telecom, control and automation, and processor design. Williams’ responsibilities include developing Middle Atlantic Products long-term strategy to provide power distribution and management solutions. Williams’ experience consists of a broad range of roles, including a position with British Royal Aeronautical Establishment where he worked on the development of aeronautical avionics systems and a stint with Reuters where he provided consulting services for IP based network computing and product management for Web-based computing applications.

ILSCO Corp. (Cincinnati): Andrew B. Quinn has been appointed executive vice president. Thomas H. Quinn Jr. has been named chief development officer and general counsel.

Eaton Corp. (Cleveland): Lennart Jonsson has been named vice president, technology, and chief technology officer for the Electrical Group. In his new role, Jonsson will be responsible for advancing the Electrical Group’s engineering and technology capabilities. He will also have strategic leadership responsibility for the Electrical Group’s global design centers. Since joining Eaton with the Powerware acquisition in 2004, he has been the senior engineering manager responsible for the development of all power quality products globally. Jonsson began his career with Nea-Lindberg AS, Copenhagen, Denmark. He later joined Ulveco Power Systems in Stockholm, Sweden. After that, he worked for Fiskars Power Systems OY/AB, Helsinki as director of product development and subsequently relocated from Sweden to the United States to serve as vice president of engineering at Deltec Electronics Corp. Jonsson joined Exide Electronics/Powerware and served as vice president of engineering and later moved to the Invensys Power Systems/Powerware as the vice president of engineering and new product development.

ETCO Inc. (Warwick, R.I.): Donna Poll has been appointed midwest regional sales manager. She will be responsible for working with representatives and distributors. She was formerly an appliance industry area manager for JST Corp., Waukegan, Ill., where she managed a multi-state territory She brings extensive connector sales and service experience to ETCO.
