Ewing Foley Inc., Cupertino, Calif., has signed an exclusive representative agreement with EGS Electrical Group for the Southern California territory. The agreement establishes the launch of Ewing Foley into the Southern California market and expands upon the successful 24-year relationship between Ewing Foley and EGS Electrical Group to include the entire US Western seaboard, including Alaska. Ewing Foley will represent the Appleton, ATX, McGill, Nelson Firestop, O-Z/Gedney and SolaHD brands in the new territory.
The company will operate from the current EGS facilities in Fullerton for the immediate future. Kevin Carroll, a 25-year industry veteran with nine of those years at EFI will serve as the Southern California division manager. The company plans to retain most of the inside and outside sales staff from EGS while augmenting additional resources during the transition to the multiple-line representative sales model. The expansion is similar to what the company undertook in 2000 when it entered the Pacific Northwest.
