Pembroke Consulting, Philadelphia, and Modern Distribution Management, Boulder, Colo., announced a $5,000 scholarship designed to foster thought leadership in the wholesale distribution industry.
“Throughout the last decade, my colleagues and I have worked with senior distribution executives on strategic issues while advancing management knowledge about wholesale distribution through our many books, research projects, and articles,” said Pembroke Consulting President Adam J. Fein. “We want to give something back and help create future thought leaders for the industry.”
Added Modern Distribution Management Editor and Publisher Thomas P. Gale, “We’re committed to advancing strategic and operational thinking. This scholarship exactly matches our mission as a resource to help build the future of this industry.”
Full-time college students at accredited U.S. universities are encouraged to apply for the scholarship. To download a copy of the entry form, visit www.mdm.com/resources/scholarship.html. Entrants are required to submit an essay discussing how technology will affect the supply chain and the future strategies of wholesaler-distributors.
The winner will be announced in September. The winning essay will be published in Modern Distribution Management.
