Power Measurement, Victoria, B.C., a provider of energy management systems, has acquired the distributed generation and power-monitoring division of D.L. Steiner, Inc., a 15-year-old Ohio-based engineering service business that specializes in power system and plant electrical system design.
Scott Henneberry, vice-president, business development, Power Measurement, said the transfer of assets and personnel enhances Power Measurement's engineered solutions capabilities, with the addition of several engineering professionals: Mark Feasel, Marvin Foster, Phillip Lawrence, Craig Osterhage, and Rob Schmersal.
Power Measurement designs and manufactures energy-management systems for energy suppliers and consumers in more than 80 countries.
“The addition of D.L. Steiner's distributed generation and power-monitoring business further rounds out Power Measurement's considerable strengths in these areas,” said Henneberry.
