Add McNaughton-McKay Electric Co. and Hughes Supply Inc. to the growing list of electrical distributors to donate $100,000 to the NAED Education & Research Foundation.
With headquarters in Madison Heights, Mich., McNaughton-McKay Electric employs approximately 850 people in 22 locations in Georgia, Michigan, Ohio, North Carolina and South Carolina. Hughes Supply, Orlando, Fla., employs 8,900 people and has nearly 500 branch locations in 38 states.
The donations will become part of an endowment fund for the NAED Education & Research Foundation. The principal amount of the endowments will remain untouched, while the interest will be used to commission future projects and studies. As a $100,000 donor, McNaughton-McKay and Hughes Supply will have permanent positions on the Channel Advantage Partnership Council, which will help select future educational programs and research projects.
