Expanding its presence in the low-voltage lighting systems arena, Juno Lighting Inc., Des Plaines, Ill., has acquired Alfa Lighting Inc.
Alfa Lighting, San Francisco, manufactures low-voltage lighting systems. The acquisition will allow Juno to offer more low-voltage lighting products, specifically monorail, cable and penadant systems. The products are expected to complement Juno's existing Trac Master, Track 12 and Flex 12 product lines.
“This combination allows Juno to market a complete line of low-voltage products in a high-growth and profitable category,” said Tracy Bilbrough, CEO of Juno Lighting. “The combined positions of the two companies are an excellent platform for incremental growth. We are extremely pleased to unite the experienced management teams of Alfa and Juno, and we look forward to continued success.”
