EGS Electrical Group (Rosemont, Ill.): EGS Electrical Group, a joint venture between Emerson Electric Co. and SPX Corp., has named Ron Orcutt president of its electrical construction materials (ECM) division. Orcutt joined EGS in 2003 as executive vice president of operations. Previously, Orcutt has spent more than 25 years in key leadership positions at Emerson Electric.
System Sensor (St. Charles, Ill.): David George has been named corporate communications leader. George brings extensive industry experience to System Sensor, working most recently as publisher of magazine titles covering the electrical, security and education industries.
Pentadyne (Chatsworth, Calif.): Frank DeLattre has been appointed senior vice president of sales. DeLattre joins the company with technical sales and marketing experience in both domestic and international markets.
Infinova (Monmouth Junction, N.J.): Ron Miller joins Infinova as regional sales manager covering Minnesota, eastern Wisconsin, North Dakota, South Dakota, Iowa, Nebraska, Kansas, Missouri and Colorado. With 12-plus years in the security and life safety industry, Miller’s broad-based experience includes managing a region for a Fortune 50 company as well as directing and developing sales and service for systems integrators.
Eoff Electric Supply (Salem, Ore.): Jim Holmes has been promoted to district manager after managing the Eugene, Ore., store for more than 18 years. Rick Kinports has been promoted to branch manager of the Eugene branch. Formerly, Kinports was an industrial automation specialist at the branch.
Orion Energy Systems Ltd. (Plymouth, Wis.): Orion Energy Systems has named three regional vice presidents. Conrad Braun, based in Dallas, will manage sales in the southern region. Prior to joining Orion in 2003, Braun owned the Patriot Energy Services and Badger Electrical Systems distributorships in Wisconsin. Danny Czaja, who joined Orion last year after eight years in technical sales, will head the central region. Robinson Kirby, who had been manager of plant engineering at Tecumseh Products Inc. before joining Orion’s sales force in 2001, will head the northeast region.
Fromm Electric Supply Corp. (Reading, Pa.): Fromm Electric announced organizational changes aimed at positioning the company for future growth. John Hanna has been named executive vice president and chief operating officer. Hanna joined Fromm in 1998 as construction sales manager and most recently served as vice president of sales and marketing. Kirk Ericsson has been named director of industrial/OEM sales; Randy Quirin was named director of commercial construction sales; and Lou Fromm was named director of residential construction sales. Company President Michael Fromm will take on the additional title of chief executive officer, succeeding Bernie Fromm, who will remain company chairman. Michael Fromm will also oversee corporate banking relationships, human resource development and community relations.
Knight Electronics Inc. (Dallas): Brian Ascher has been named manager of special projects. Ascher joins Knight Electronics with background in shipping logistics and extensive knowledge of Asian business.
