The Portland Oregon branch of EMCOR’s Dynalectric Co. subsidiary has been awarded a contract for the replacement of the electrical systems at the Edith Green-Wendell Wyatt Federal Building in Portland, Ore. Dynalectric will be responsible for replacing the entire electrical, fire alarm and tele/data systems in the 18-story, 500,000-square-foot Edith Green-Wendell Wyatt Federal Building. To be completed in 2013, the building is being built to LEED Platinum standards. Its construction is the largest American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) project in Region 10 of the U.S. General Service Administration.
