ElectricSmarts, a provider of Web content, e-learning systems and online pricing tools for electrical distributors and contractors, has joined more than 30 electrical industry manufacturers and service providers as a sponsor of the 2005 Electrical Industry Marketing Conference (EIMC), scheduled for Aug. 7-9 in Chicago.
Electrical Wholesaling magazine is a co-sponsor of the conference, which is managed by Channel Marketing Group, Raleigh, N.C. The EIMC is receiving solid sponsorship support from the industry. (For list of other sponsors, see EM, Dec. 17, 2004 issue, page 4).
To provide greater value to conference attendees, ElectricSmarts will be conducting a post-conference seminar entitled “Orchestrating Your Web Presence.” Conference attendees will hear: How to harness the power of the Web to add value to your customers’ experience; share best practices from within, and outside of, the industry; new approaches to communicating product; the next media revolution in B2B; e-learning as a marketing weapon for staff and customers; and account management services that customers value. ElectricSmarts will also be providing the Web infrastructure for the EIMC post-conference community, which is designed to enable attendees to continue their learning and networking throughout the year.
