AD-IMARK Finalize Merger
Milbank Manufacturing, Kansas City, MO, said it has sold its Vigilant Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) and manual transfer switch (MTS) product lines to Ronk Electrical Industries, Inc., Nokomis, IL. The sale includes all assets associated with the Vigilant line, ranging from 100 amp to 1250 amp transfer switches and Milbank’s line of manual transfer switches.
“Several years ago, Milbank made the strategic decision to focus on our core offerings: metering, enclosures and enclosed controls,” said Brad Skinner, president of Milbank. “While we were successful with our Vigilant and manual transfer switch lines, we believe the sale of these is in our best interest and will position us for continued success in our core product lines.”
The Vigilant ATS, which Milbank has manufactured since 2014, automatically transfers critical loads in the event of a power outage. It’s used in residential, agricultural and light industrial applications. The sale of the Vigilant ATS and MTS product lines will allow Milbank to focus its resources on its additional product lines.
Ronk said the acquisition will let it offer products customers have wanted to buy from the company.
“The addition of the ATS and MTS lines to our long established manual switch lineup allows us to provide our partners and customers the products they have requested from us in the past,” said Tom Giordano, national sales and marketing manager for Ronk. “For many years, satisfied buyers have placed their confidence and trust in our reliable products and this is an additional high quality line that we can now provide to them.”
