Rexel Electrical & Datacom Products, Dallas, has appointed Jim O’Hargan, president of the company’s South Central Division since 1998, to the new position of vice president, sales and new business development. O’Hargan’s background includes positions as vice president of sales for Hubbell Lighting and regional vice president for Genlyte Thomas Group. With the creation of this new position, Rexel has also made the following changes. Tim Copeland, who had been vice president of logistics and operations for Rexel’s U.S. operations since January 2002, will fill the South Central Division post. The division is based in Houston. Additionally, Rexel recently hired Renee Junell as director of credit, replacing Ken Hoover. Junell previously led the customer financial services team at Frito-Lay. Hoover, who retired in May 2003 after more than 20 years with Rexel, had stayed on for the past year in a consulting role.
