Actuant to Divest Engineered Components & Systems

Company pursues a standalone strategy as a pure play industrial tools and services company.

Actuant Corp., Milwaukee, intends to divest its Engineered Components & Systems business and focus solely focus on its Industrial Tools & Services in pursuit of a standalone strategy as a pure play industrial tools and services company.

The company recently sold Precision-Hayes and announced plans to sell the Cortland U.S. business. The remaining EC&S segment primarily serves OEMs with highly engineered system-critical motion, actuation and control solutions under the CrossControl, Maximatecc, Elliott Manufacturing, Gits Manufacturing, Power-Packer and Weasler Engineering brands.
