Arizona officials bust up $10 million copper theft ring linked to China

An article in the Phoenix Business Journal says Arizona state prosecutors and police have "broken up a $10 million organized theft ring that allegedly stole raw copper from an Asarco LLC mine in Hayden, Ariz." According to the report, thieves allegedly stole copper by the truckloads from the mine and some of the copper was sold on the Chinese black market.
