Schneider Electric’a Juno Lighting Group, Des Plaines, Ill., has expanded distribution of its LED luminaires into the Middle East in a partnership with Lumasense, a master lighting distributor headquartered in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. Lumasense will be the exclusive distributor of Juno Lighting Group products in the region and the initial offering will support distribution throughout Bahrain, Egypt, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Turkey and the UAE.
In a Juno release, the company said the “presence of Juno Lighting Group’s fixtures in the Middle East will address key project opportunities in healthcare, hospitality, commercial, multi-unit and industrial property development as well as sports and entertainment venues.”
Juno Lighting Group joins the significant market presence already established by Schneider Electric in the Middle East with a comprehensive lighting portfolio that has been experiencing significant growth. The company is seeing success in both national and global accounts – particularly in the areas of retail and hospitality – with growing demand for Juno Lighting Group’s products throughout the Middle East.
Lumasense will handle specifications and distribution of Juno Lighting Group products in all supported countries and coordinate with contractors and sub-distributors for both commercial and residential markets. Over the last 10 years, Lumasense has teamed up with specifiers, architects, lighting designers and consulting engineering firms on the specification of lighting and controls solutions in hundreds of Middle East-based projects. Juno Lighting Group significantly broadens Lumasense’s offerings for both interior and exterior lighting applications.
