EMCOR subsidiary wins bid for big milk processing plant in upstate New York

Shambaugh & Son, a subsidiary of Emcor Group Inc., Norwalk, Conn., has been awarded a contract by Cayuga Milk Ingredients to act as the design/build contractor for its new manufacturing facility in Auburn, N.Y. A press release announcing the contract said Shambaugh & Son will manage the design and construction of the 110,000-square-foot evaporator and dryer, vertically integrated manufacturing facility for Cayuga Milk Ingredients as well as for installation of its process equipment and utilities. The company’s scope of work includes all construction management, as well as management and performance of all architectural, civil, structural, process, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing disciplines.
