Rep News: General Cable makes awards, Emerson and Anamet name new reps

March 17, 2017
New reps for Emerson's O-Z Gedney and Appleton, and for Anamet Electrical

General Cable recognized its reps during the 2017 National Electrical Manufacturers Representatives Association (NEMRA) meeting. The winners were:  2016 Representative of the Year — Stone Sales Agency, Inc.; Representative Inside Sales Associate of the Year — Jeff Seltzer of Bleiman & Sons; Director’s Club Awards — Archway Electrical Sales; Blomquist, Densley & Young; C.C. Pierce Company, Inc.; Casey Electric Sales; Emmco & Associates; Ewing Foley, Inc.; Lester Sales Company, LLC; Pacific Western Agencies Inc.; Stone Sales Agency, Inc.; Team Electrical Sales; Thea Enterprises, LLC; Vertex Innovative Solutions Inc.; and Young & Champagne.

Appleton and O-Z/Gedney, two Emerson brands, named Osterman Fox and Associates to assume sales representative responsibilities in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Vermont, Maine, Rhode Island and Connecticut. The move was effective March 1, 2017. Osterman Fox and Associates has represented Appleton and O-Z/Gedney brands since 1980 in upstate New York, and in a press release said they are excited to duplicate that success in the New England market.

The rep firm opened a new office in Farmington, CT, last December to serve as headquarters for the sales professionals tasked with the new responsibilities: Aaron Odell, Jim Crudele, Scott Kozlak and Dan Riccio. All four have extensive experience working with distribution and the electrical community. Tim Sexton, a long time Osterman Fox employee, is helping cover the Northern New England territory out of Eastern New York.

Northeast Marketing Group is now representing Anamet Electrical, Mattoon, IL in  Vermont, Maine, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, and Connecticut, effective March 1. The company has been an electrical rep  in New England for more than 40 years.
